Privacy Policy

The short version: ToolBreezy’s tools run in your browser. The text, numbers, files, and options you enter into a tool are processed on your own device and are never uploaded to us or stored by us. There is no server here to upload them to, which is also why none of this costs anything.

Four tools are the exception, because the answer they exist to give you lives on someone else’s machine and there is no way around that. Those four are named below, along with what leaves your browser and who receives it. Nothing else on the site contacts anyone.

What we do and don’t collect

• Tool inputs and outputs: never collected. They stay in your browser and are gone when you close the tab, unless a tool explicitly saves to your own device or is one of the four named below.
• Analytics: none is running on this site today. If we ever add any it will be the privacy-respecting, aggregate kind that does not identify you personally, and this page will say so before it goes live.
• Advertising: no ads run here today and no ad partner receives anything about you. If ads are ever enabled, ad partners may use cookies, and you will be given a consent choice first wherever the law requires one.

The four tools that ask someone else

Nearly every tool here is done with the network the moment the page has loaded. These four are not, because what they are for is fetching something that only exists somewhere else. Rather than bury that, here is the whole list and exactly what goes out:

• DNS Lookup sends the domain name you type to Cloudflare’s public 1.1.1.1 resolver over encrypted HTTPS. That single domain is all that is sent, and it does not pass through us on the way. Plenty of lookup sites run the query on their own backend and keep a log of every domain you check, which is the thing this is deliberately avoiding.
• Google Fonts Pair Finder downloads the real font files from Google so it can weigh them, which is the entire point of the tool. That request goes out as soon as the page opens, before you have touched anything, so Google sees the visit the same way it sees a visit to any site that uses their fonts. Your browser tells them our address and not the page you were on. Whatever you type into the preview never leaves your machine.
• YouTube Thumbnail Downloader asks YouTube’s image servers for the thumbnails belonging to the link you paste, so the video ID reaches Google. Nothing else about you goes with it, and the images are downloaded straight to your device.
• Restore an Old Photo is the only tool here that sends a file you chose. It cannot be done in a browser, because the model is far too large, so the photo goes to KIE.AI, along with the instruction, using an API key you supply yourself. It does not pass through us: your browser talks to KIE.AI directly, we never see the key, and there is no server here that could hold either. The finished image comes back from their file host for your browser to display.

Each of those pages says the same thing on the page itself, so you do not have to come here to find it out. If any other tool ever needs an outside request, it gets a row on this list before it ships.

What this site keeps on your own device

Some things are stored in your browser so the site is useful on a second visit. All of it lives in your browser’s local storage on your own device, none of it is sent anywhere, and clearing your site data removes all of it. Two things are worth naming because they are easy to miss: your light or dark theme preference, and a short list of the tools you have opened, which is what fills the recently used row on the home page. That list holds the tool name and when you opened it, never anything you typed into the tool. There is a Clear button on the home page beside it.

Individual tools may also remember their own settings, and the ones that do say so on their own page. If you would rather check than take our word for it, open your browser’s developer tools, look at local storage for this site, and you will find those entries and nothing else.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies at all. Not one, essential or otherwise. The few things it does remember are the ones named above, kept in your browser’s own storage on your device and never sent anywhere. That is also why you are not asked to accept anything to use the site: there is nothing to accept. If analytics or advertising are ever added, non-essential storage will only be set with your consent where GDPR/CCPA requires it, and you will be asked before it loads.

Your rights

Because we don’t collect personal data from the tools, there is nothing tool-related for us to export or delete, and with no analytics or advertising running there is no other data set to request either. Clearing your browser’s site data removes everything this site has kept. The one thing we would hold is a message you chose to send us through the contact form, and you can ask for that to be deleted at any time using the same form or LinkedIn. If any of the rest ever changes, you will be able to exercise your GDPR/CCPA access, deletion, and opt-out rights through the consent controls we add at that point and through your browser settings.

Chrome extensions

ToolBreezy also publishes Chrome extensions. They are separate software from this website, and this section covers them. Every one of them does its work inside your own browser. None of them has a server to send anything to, none of them asks you to make an account, and none of them contains analytics.

An extension can read the page it is working on, because that is the job. The SEO checker reads the page you are auditing. The rank checker reads a Google results page to find where your domain appears. The Maps scraper reads the business listings you choose to collect. What it reads goes into the file you save on your own machine, and nowhere else. We never receive it.

One extension makes one outside request. Local Rank Checker & Map Grid Tracker sends the place name you type, such as “Austin, TX”, to Photon, a free geocoding service run by Komoot on OpenStreetMap data, to turn that text into coordinates. The place name is all that is sent. Your keyword, your domain and your results are not.

Settings each extension saves, such as your locations and preferences, are stored by Chrome on your device. Uninstalling removes them. We hold no copy because we never had one.

Third parties

Cloudflare hosts the site and serves the pages, and that is the only company involved in running ToolBreezy. There is no analytics provider and no advertising provider in the picture, because neither is running. Like any host, Cloudflare can see the ordinary details of a request, such as your IP address and which page was asked for. It never receives anything you typed into a tool, because that never leaves your browser to begin with.

The contact form is the one other outside service, and it is not switched on yet. Sending a message right now does nothing except point you at LinkedIn. Once it is switched on, messages are delivered by Web3Forms, a form-relay service, which passes the name, email address and message you typed into that form to my inbox. It is used by the contact page and nowhere else, and no tool sends it anything.

Any AI-powered tools added in the future call the provider you choose, using a key you supply, so those requests go to that provider under your own account, not through us.
