About the Rotate PDF
The Rotate PDF tool turns every page of a PDF the right way up in a couple of clicks. If you scanned a document sideways, saved a photo-based PDF upside down, or received a file where the pages are rotated the wrong way, this tool fixes the orientation and hands you a clean, downloadable copy. You choose how far to rotate — a quarter turn clockwise, a half turn, or a quarter turn the other way — and every page is turned by the same amount at once, so a whole document is corrected in a single step.
Everything happens entirely inside your browser. Your PDF is read locally, rotated in memory, and offered back to you as a download — it is never uploaded to any server, there is no sign-up, and after the page has loaded once the tool keeps working even without an internet connection. Nothing you open is stored or tracked. If you pick a file that isn't a valid PDF, or one that is encrypted or corrupted, the tool catches the problem and shows a friendly message instead of crashing, so you always know exactly what happened.
How to use
- Add your PDF by dragging it onto the drop zone or clicking to browse and select a file that ends in

Good to know
The rotation is applied on top of any orientation the page already has, so if a page was already turned, the new angle is added to the existing one. The tool normalizes the result so it always lands on a clean 0°, 90°, 180°, or 270° orientation. Because the rotation only changes how each page is displayed, the text and images inside stay sharp — nothing is re-rendered or re-compressed, and the quality of your document is preserved exactly.

Does rotating change the quality of my PDF?
No. Rotation only updates the orientation flag on each page, so the underlying text, vector graphics, and images are untouched. There is no re-rendering or re-compression, which means your document keeps exactly the same quality after rotating.
Can I rotate only some pages instead of all of them?
This tool rotates every page in the document by the same amount, which is what you usually want when a whole file was scanned or saved the wrong way. If you need per-page control, rotate the whole file here first, then use a PDF editor for any individual pages that need a different angle.
Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No. The entire process runs locally in your browser using an in-page PDF engine. Your file is read, rotated, and downloaded without ever leaving your device, and nothing is stored or sent to a server.
What happens if my file isn't a valid PDF?
The tool tries to open the file and, if it isn't a readable PDF — for example because it is encrypted, password-protected, corrupted, or simply not a PDF — it stops and shows a clear error message. Nothing is downloaded and your original file is never altered.
Does this work offline?
